2016 GTOG8TA.com Open House & Car Show June 17-18 (Hatfield, PA)

The Pypes Exhaust / Max Performance Car Show is a 2 day event.
On Friday (June 17),we have an afternoon cruise-in, then a casual cruise through the local area and end up back at Pypes for some great food. Show time is 12:00 pm - 5pm.

Saturday (June 18) is an all day car show extravaganza. We have a Muscle Car & Truck show, a Mustang show and an all Pontiac show. Also a free cruise-in section for those who just want to check out the show with their antique vehicle. Show time is 8:30am - 5pm

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER...  WE ARE HAVING A PONTIAC GTO JUDGING CLASS. This is for GTOs only that want to have their GTO judged by the GTOAA qualified judges.  There is a limited amount of tickets available.  We will judge your GTO according to the GTOAA guidelines.
For this class, you must bring your PHS to prove your GTO is a real GTO for the following years...  1964, 1965, 1972, 1973, & 1974.  These years the GTO was an option.  We will not examine the PHS and compare it to the car as it is presented the day of the show either.
The rule of thumb when entering the GTO into this class is you are allowed to have modifications on your GTO, but the more modifications you have, the more points are taken OFF the 350 total.  This is NOT a modified GTO class... it's for originally restored back to factory looking GTOs.  All safety additions (ie sway bar, radial tires, boxed in rear lower control arms, etc) will not be marked off.  If the control arms were changed to tubular, then they will get marked off.  Examples of points being marked off: adding a hood tach when the GTO did not have it available, or chromed alternator or oil pan, Craiger SS rims, fuzzy dice in the window, tiger tails hanging from your license plate, shag carpet, etc...  Basic rule of thumb is if the GTO drove off the show room floor, the car gets 350 points.  If the car has dirt on the underside of the car, you will get points marked off...

This is an event not to be missed. Proceeds benefit ALS of Philadelphia.
